Well...uhh...anyone have a bead on a reservable campsite anywhere this weekend? I'm having last minute thoughts of trying to drive up for the long weekend from SoCal for some decent weather and real trees.
And yeah yeah..I know...Memorial day weekend blah blah booked up months ago  :smt010 Thanks guys.

Ocean cove campground is FCFS.
There's also a nice little known campground Parker's Resort in Guernevillle.
If you want to thank a Vet, be a person worth fighting for.

Sorry to say, but FCFS is usually the only option during any of the spring/summer months.  Those reservations are taken up as soon as possible, like a year in advance.  I'd target big spots that are FCFS, like Lake San Antonio, Forebay, etc...

San Antonio is closed. You could always park off Naciemento Ferguson rd in Big Sur off hiway 1. Guarnteed to find a spot there, fish limekiln.

Haha, if I get that place I'll be sure to invite all you guys up. Fits 16+ supposedly.

Looks like Olema has some spots open so time for some oysters I guess.

For real tho.  baq wen i used 2 camp, n got cot slippin on a holiday, i'd refer to Stienstra's lists.  Then work the phones like crazy.  If you want to hump into Henry Coe, you'd find good water levels for dinker bass and 'gills - no reservations reqd.

Riverside Big Sur lox available sun/mon night.

Gud luck
