Nice! I've always wanted to strip the gear and play around in the surf. Looks like fun!

Great video and so cool to think that all the while your crab pots were filling up with legal Dungies! You guys sure came back to "camp" wet and happy.  Only thing the video was missing is me. Next year ;-)
    Thank you, Amos

Love the video as well as the editing and I know all about going through the spin cycle, I actually took my big tuna up to seaside Oregon where my boys live and we took turns playing in the surf. No matter how much you practice always, ALWAYS be ready to roll it's all part of the game and I have always walked away laughing, even harder when a tourist runs in waist deep to "rescue you" the guy in a wetsuit,a PFD, and a kayak all while his shorts and wallet are soaked and his sneakers are full of salt water and sand.   :smt044

Thanks everybody was super fun filming that one for sure!

It sure does! I used to be scared of paddling out if even the smallest of waves were breaking, now I know with my gear and electronics stowed I can charge through 3fters no problem! Riding them in was a bit more difficult, for me at least. Adam was a natural and had some really good rides but I did learn a ton!

I plan on heading to Doran on the 18th for the first time in the salt with my kayak.  Launching and landing (surfing) is my main goal.  I've got to get my feet wet somehow.  Thanks for the awesome vid.
