I received a Okuma level wind line counter reel as a gift. Thoughtful gift, hu? I took it to the big lake once and to the coast twice. The reel did everything I asked it to do. After the fishing trips to the coast it was washed with fresh water. On my last trip to the coast the line counter zero lever was sticking and by the end of the day the freewheel was acting up.  Today I took it apart to add some lube and see just what was going on inside. To my surprise I found a very small spring floating around inside. The exploded view that came with the reel is all but useless, I have to scan it and blow it up to see it, Im old. I did however get it back together and it seems to work fine now.

I only want to be the man my dog thinks I am.
