we were up there two weeks or so ago with no issue on a monday am.  arrived around 7am - usually nobody mans the booth that early in the am so we just fill out the envelopes they have up front

Iron ranger early a.m....leave money in envelopes ..you can unload at the beach access but then have to park back up top and hoof it back

Please keep the gophers! We need to thin them out so we can get our rigs to the bottom and get to the better fish. LOL, Never have I seen a place so chock full of gopher rock fish.
