Launched at 7:45 and trolled 3.2 miles with CHUB. Made it home by noon.
Top lined and used the downrigger at various depths with various offerings for nada.
Didn't really matter though as the weather and conditions and scenery were unbeatable.
Someone polished the lake as it was smooth as glass as soon as we launched.
Check out the perfect reflections of CHUB on the water.

Great pics Mike. Good to see you didn't have the windy conditions we had in the valley.

Tote-

Great pix... awesome weather. Did you use your downrigger at all? I'm still curious as to how it works out... whether the lines get in your way of paddling or not. I'm still on the fence about it.

The line did not get in my way and I was using a shorter rod than usual ( 6'6'' ). I had to be careful though as to not hit the line with my paddle.
I would recommend a longer rod to keep the line well out of your way so you don't have to think about it at all.
At 30 feet I hardly noticed any drag but at 65 feet it was noticeable and pulled a little to the left. Nothing major.
