Sorry, Howard. I favor Salt, so I'd have to go with ABC. Manchester is ok, just a trek to the water.

Number one on their list is my number one for freshwater fishing.  When full, about 37 acres.  Great fly fishing.  As of last week, FS patrolman said still snowbound and will be for a couple more weeks.

As long as we are stomping,

I've got nothing. There's a couple boat in camps id add at stone lagoon and lake Shasta but that's a pretty solid list. Kinda sucks that they blew up crater lake but people don't go out side anymore so it probably won't matter.

Oh I know. Ruth Lake isn't in Humboldt  :smt006

Considering Anchor Bay is on that list, it can't be taken seriously.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

I can tell you the pic they have for the Manchester beach koa was taken no where near manhester beach koa  :smt044

One of my favorite camps is at Milton res. Nice little zone, free, pull the kayak up to camp type deal. That place and I love going to sleep on the beaches of pyramid lake listening to the loons and the waves lap on the shore and coyotes singing in the hills behind, that doesn't suck either.
