high tide is about noon, so am going to head out to Stinson or Limantour early- probably be there at 7:30-8. Fish the income- the split about 1pm to run up to Coleman valley rd to watch the peloton suffer up that little beastie of a climb.
of course if the fishings good, then i'll just keep hitting it, and wait till wednesday to see the TdC in San Jose.

If you don't know what i'm talking about- many of the pros that race the Tour de france (including Team Discovery, CSC, Rabobank) are here for the Tour de california. Its early season so they are only just barely superhuman.
They should hit coleman about 1:38-1:42pm (based on last years pace)

Tides look good for that morning. If I can get away I may hit the surf down here.

I've watched footage of that race (and of course the TdF).Those guys are superhuman. That would be fun to watch in person. :smt001

Nothing like watching them power up some hill climb in their big rings...this'll be just like the TdF, just minus the Million plus people watching each stage. Went to TdF in 2003...amazing, amazing event---even if you're not a cycling fan- its quite an experience
