Fished on foot with stunning weather all around. Fished 5 main stops and went 1 for 3. The one I landed was a fat wild hen. Another spit the hook at me in mid-flight. That one left me smiling! The last one never showed, just sulked in a deeper hole till the hook pulled loose.
The viz is about 2/3 feet, with a great steelhead color. The flow is about 2k cfs.
I wanted my kayak in a couple of spots, if only to better fish the slot and for access to the other side of the river.
My toes ache from walking the river's edge.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Nice report! I NEED CHROME! I'm planning on going to the Fred hall show tomorrow, but I wonder if I could get a quick hour of fishing in first?

CHEERS!
