Saw an ad on CL for some Steelie Gear and it had some old school Wee Warts pictured which I am always on the hunt for, so I fiqured  I would hit the new RP SW on the way to pick it up. Nice store I like the way they set it up and the prices are better than OPS. They don't have nearly the selection of rods or saltwater gear that OPS has but they do have some stuff that OPS don't have and a lot of Hunting,Guns,Camping and Archery gear. They have a lot of fly tying materiel. 1/2 an aisle of YAK GEAR  some cheap Kayaks only name brand I saw was Old Town but no Predators. P-Line sabakis $.99 I told the Saltwater Guy they better stock up on Big Hammers and 3-6 oz swim heads.

Went to pick up the Steelie gear and sometimes you luck out here is a few pictures of some of it a lot of Hot Shots and Wee Warts all old school that you can't get anymore most look like they have never been used, and most customized with bead chains and single hooks. All the WW and some of the HS had the original boxes, hooks and split rings plus another box with hundreds of hooks, sampo swivels, Duo locks and 10lbs of lead shot for slinkys enough to last a lifetime. The hooks and swivels alone are worth over $100. A vest also the guy just kept handing me stuff, I almost felt like a thief. Over a hundred Spin Glos and 200 Corkies and a bunch of yarn flies Check out the last pic pretty cool have never seen one of these. All for $25.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Gotta Love scores like that. got a similar score on Craigslist in 2014 in Rohnert Park. went to look at some chest waders and fly fishing gear that was posted by his wife. in the picture I can tell the waders were simms and it wasn't my fishing gear it was spinning gear. when I got there he had given the waders to one of his buddies the night before was a bit bummed. did have Frogg Toggs 8 foot steelhead rod and 2 spinning reels hard case rod holder Browning fishing vest 2 flat tackle organizers filled with all necessary gear for a beginner and a couple bags of yarn got it all for $20. son-in-law lives of the Mad River and got interested in fishing. so I gave it to him as a starter kit
