looks like REI sent out 20 percent coupon for their members. Won't be active until the 18th. Looks like I'll be ordering a set through REI.

240 * 20 percent = 192

sweet!

that's the best way to do it if you don't buy em from me.  tax would put you around $210.

bummer you don't live closer DrDave. Anyone going from Redding down to Fresno or Monterey (Rock fishing), :D
+1 I'd get a set from you if you were closer
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

finally got my wheelez in today after waiting a weeks for it:) woo hoo. No more unloading the kayak. Had a spill yesterday at the Forebay with a kayak full of gear going over a curb. It was almost over the curb but the very last second it tilted to the right and bam, out goes all the gear and rod. Good thing no rods were damage :)

the wheels are huge haha.

congrats!!!!!!  make sure to adjust the pads to fit your underyak. If the pads are too wide/narrow, the keel(spine of yak) will rub on the frame or roll/tilt on the pads, resulting in slipping/rocking.

lil'advise = DO NOT store your yak on the cart for too long. If it is under your scuppers/drain holes, it might be ok(if yak is not loaded to heavy. I have only Ocean Kayak experience on this. If cart is under any other area of the yak, it will start to compress it. Sitting in the hot sun, it will happen fast, like a few hours. And use the straps if there are any bumps on the road.

You'll never look back and say" I shuda, wuda, coulda.  :smt002

oh, and good lookin buddy you got there, don't forget him/her when you go out on the water.
