Wind paddle Release Right Fish Net

Has anyone purchased this net.  I like the concept.  Just thought someone might have it and get their opinion.

I was just looking at these yesterday.  High concept but I'm skeptical that the fish won't just jump out of it.  It is a folding net > 18" diameter so ocean legal and folds down to carry stow it away to be legal, which is a bonus in addition to use for CPR fishing.

But yeah this is in my cart at ACK and I'm probably gonna buy it unless someone talks me out of it.

saw those a while back, been looking at their sails on youtube - pretty cool!

I wanted to see him fold it all the way back up real quick - it looks a little messy in terms of lots of water drizzling out of it if you want to fold it right up and stow it.  Otherwise, I think this looks like a nice product.  The big thing about the very fine mesh netting is that fish don't see a potential escape hole like they do in a typical big salmon net.  Where there are knots every 3" or so on the big salmon net, a fish slams itself up against inescapable holes and damages all of its fins, but in the fine mesh net it sees no escape - I've been describing my steelhead catches as having "gone to sleep" in my new fine mesh release net by Promar.  I LOVE it. 

It does look like a fish might jump out of this floating product, but I still like it - especially for the use he described where a tourney bass fisherman keeps the fish in good shape with it by keeping it in the water.  I could see using this in the ocean with rockfish or coho.
