Hi all,

Hopefully someone can take advantage of this deal before the season opens.

2009 Hobie AI yellow

Comes with following...

trax wheels (small tires)
4 railblaza mounts (I've add two more since I've bought the AI)
2 railblaza rod holders
Almost brand new hobie trampolines
Motor mount
Turbo fins

I originally bought it from eelkram last June.  Spent a pretty penny on the additional stuff.

Garage kept and lots of fish juju!

She sails like a dream and the hull is dry (even at 5-7kt).  The sail is like new but the wind direction indicator is a bit wrinkled.

The hull has the "demo" stamped, but again it's in the perfect working condition.

She is California registered (renewal is on 2017).

What can I say about this AI...  Other members has seen the AI in the water and in action.  Wish I can keep her, but my other project is about to come through.

I am also listing other "kayak" related items, so PM me if you see something in you like in the pics!

Thanks for looking!

Peter

Did you have to register the AI because it is considered a sail boat???? Bump for a good deal.

Definitely a great deal. Pete has definitely rubbed off some good fishing juju on these kayaks.

Nope, bought it registered already.  If someone has a 2.3 Honda or a 2.5 Suzuki lying around they can buy this package and legally hit the ocean without worrying bout ticketing!

Thanks all for the kind words!  Just to tease a little, I can take the tramp, motor mount, and 2 out of 4 railblaza mount off and sell the AI alone (sub $2k[emoji6][emoji6][emoji6])

I believe you are supposed to register it if you use a sail or powered propulsion other than paddle or mirage/pedal type (human) drive.  Problem with registering is you have to then claim it as destroyed to stop paying.  Wish they'd figure out an alternative option for this  :smt011

This is correct.  My original reply meant I didn't do the original registration.  Instead I answer a quick "nope".  Sorry for the confusion.
