Frank Im in next trip to dumbarton just give me a call I will bring all the mojo I have.

This is my paddle there are many like it but this one is mine,
My paddle is my best friend, It is my life, I must master it as I must master my life
My paddle without me is useless, without my paddle I am useless                                                              I must thrust my paddle true, I must paddle straiter than my enemy who is trying to outfish me,
I must outpaddle him before he outpaddles me I WILL
My paddle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its                              weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its blades and its shaft. I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes and my heart against damage. I will keep my paddle clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...
Before God, I swear this creed. My paddle and myself are the defenders of my bounty. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is a kayakers and there is no enemy, but peace!

I haven't been the site much in the past few months but came accross this thread and found myself very entertained and had to chuckle. Being a Pastor myself, I am ready and willing to get the Church of the Filthy Fishing Kayak Fisherman up and running. It would be fresh air as many of my past congregations have only been whiners and complainers. The truth is that I have some of the most peace moments in my life while bobbing aimlessly in my yak. We need to post Franks creed/prayer at our events. That reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife in which I recklously said I thought that I would be blissfully content to die on my kayak. "you wouldn't want to die in my arms?" she said. She wrote a very interesting journal entry describing my love  :smt007affair I have with my kayak and how she can't compeat.   I'll give you all an BIG Amen!
When the Lord takes your sins, you never see them again. He casts them into the depths of the sea, forgiven and forgotten. I even believe that He places a sign over them that reads no fishing allowed.
