So I went up to visit my buddy in Oroville this weekend and we were able to hit the lake a few hours sat n sun.we had a few bites but nothing spectacular.we mostly went scouting around with the info some of you guys provided.my buddy got his first spot ever.and I caught a dink myself.but I was able to take my six year old and she started to learn how to cast on her own.she kept asking me how come no fish were biting,I told her she have to keep at it.well she didn't catch anything but it was great too she that she kept at it until we all called it quit.no fish were harm in this report.my buddy kept the fish on the stringer so he could show it to me but was released to be caught another day.

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Thanks for the report and video!  I'm glad you were able to get out and catch some fish.  I've always had better luck fishing Oroville from the water, but with that being said, I've caught some decent fish from shore too.  Next time bring you kayak and hit me up.
