I do prefer that people try one of my X-Factors.

I went with Eric on the Eel on Valentine's Day this year.  Whitewater was not an issue, except at one spot that we did a portage due to a downed tree.  In a few spots you must do a determined paddle in one direction, which Eric tells you about well before.

I used his X-Factor and found it stable and tracked extremely well, compared to my Hobie Outback.  Since you are floating down the river, there isn't much paddling to do other than for orienting.

Oh, and he got me onto a sweet 30" snake-headed runback that was my fish of a lifetime.

You should book a day with Eric!  Totally worth it.

Fish laugh when I paddle by.  Sometimes they laugh so hard they fall on my hook.
