Local reports says its picking up, but I havnt noticed.  Spent most of the day getting used to the new third eye. The lake is low and my usual haunts are now above the waterline.  Fish of the day was taken on a chad flavored rip bait. No success on the jig ,shaken slowly, or the senko.
Had multiple hooks to remove from this fish and only took the time for one photo op before releasing.
I havnt quite found the sweet spot with the vanity mount yet.

The fact that it actually worked gave me perma-grin for the rest of the day.  It also gave me the confidence to tackle the next project.  I realize Ill need some time to develop my interpretation skills but the third eye is something I should have embraced a long time ago.
I think it was mostly arrogance, partly ignorance, and a suspicion that the added weight, mounted so high, would unbalance the yak. I was wrong.  I was catching alot of fish and thought that electronics were for tech weenies that never developed real fishing instincts. Wrong again.  One day fishing with some NCKA guys at mendo showed me my error and that I was at a obvious disadvantage. Thanks again for the schooling and help.

Looks like a FATTY Terry~spider!  low-water levels are not-good to the lakes that have the SWEET-Veggitation and covers along the shore. Its gonna be tougher to find them in the usual spots! :smt010
I have yet to get one on a crank/rip....one of these days
