First time out this year testing my new 2007 fishing license.  Fished 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Caught 3 Rainbows 15", 15.5" and 24"!  trolling (toplining with 200' line out) Criplure gold with orange flash strip and crawfish Procure gel.   Was at south end (all caught near second buoy from left as paddling away from dam) going off the  shelf 14-21'.  Water temp. 50.2 degrees, N wind 1-3 mph.
Met Fishhunter Adam and his partner.  They had one bass (18" I was told at the dock).  Report was that this lake has turned on last couple days after being dead since early Dec.  I was told others were catching with nightcrawlers and Rapalas.  Jogged the lake afterwards and saw two bank fishermen with a stringer of seven trout similar to mine.

Hit the pond at 7:oo with my buddy Tony (aka Hobie-Tone-Ka'newB).Trolled 2"rapalas for 3-miles for "NOT".....I see them...they don't see MY LURE.... :smt013
Then it was back to Hogg Huntin at 10:oo ish. along the tullie ends,break-ups and structure near deep-water.
My buddy HobieTone said he was gonna toss the magic Senko till he hooks one........after a few tosses he was back to throwing his favorite MINI-Bass-catching lure :smt011 for nada.......  he just won't listen to words,so I had to SHOW BY EXAMPLE with a 17" Hogg-to-be!
***PIC#3 = **check-out the MOUTH scars on his side?  Did he grow into those?

Saw a Yak-fisher and asked if he was NCKA?...he was and Nice to meet you Tom!  :smt006 I wish I could have trolled up one like your 24"er!!        one of these daze! :smt003  I think i'm puttin out enough line, maybe not....I will be adding that pro-cure now!
