LM Crabbing...

Dropped my traps yesterday with my friend Bree (2 licenses = more crabs!) and picked them up this morning. After a few drops and pulls we ended with 12 dungies and four fat rock crabs, using salmon, squid, and turkey legs for bait. Got dumped once going out but overall it was nice. A surfer told me he saw a 12ft shark swim by him twice and thought it was a basking shark...I would suspect any 12 ft shark out here to be a great white...

They seem having a lot of meat. Enjoy the feast. What was water temp? Was it cold after dump? Thanks for the report.

It wasn't too cold...I actually went full in while beaching the kayak. I thought I was close enough in to jump out and walk it in, but it turned out to be neck-deep and I had to swim it in. I could have been more graceful for the people watching from the beach...
