Hello anglers,
I am new to the board and wouldlike to take the time to briefly introduce myself. I have been kayak fishing for a little over two years and have been hooked since day one. I currently sport a jackson cuda 12 and my home waters are Merced River, O' neill forebay, and Lake McClure .  I also like fishing the Tuolumne, Stanislaus, Delta, and am interested in trying out what else the valley has to offer for kayak angling.  I look forward to being part of Norcal kayak anglers!

Welcome to NCKA. Whatever you do don't fish the ocean as you will become addicted and then travel costs will increase.

Welcome.  And don't start spearfishing, or you will have to move to the coast . . . .

Welcome.  And don't start spearfishing, or you will have to move to the coast . . . .

My wife made me move and I was kicking and screaming.  But after I became addicted to fishing and diving there was no way I could leave.  Many years ago we decided we would retire to Idaho, Montana or some other state with no coastal access.  Now I just can't imaging not being close to the ocean. I can fly to Montana and fly fish every couple years and get my fix.

So Yowlie is correct.

I looked at the photo again and he was either walking on water or standing on the shoreline.  Either way I saw some of the guys at the AOTY awards and even though they were on shore they should have had a PFD on.

Walking on water is one thing, but walking on vertical water is beyond miraculous...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
