Hookup: Tahoe 2/20 or 2/21

I'm hitting Tahoe this weekend in search of the legendary Mackinaw. 

If anybody wants to hook-up to keep it safe and make it fun, please PM me.

Current plan was to put-in at Dollar Point near Tahoe City.  The weather looks to be very mild both days. Will be up there both days, but may not fish both.

Note: I have caught Macks before, but that was summertime in Canada from a canoe.  Winter on Lake Tahoe seems like a different ball of wax.  Planning on top-lining and jigging.

I'm tossing the idea around of going up tomorrow for a day trip. I was either going to launch on the south shore and try for macks, or launch on the east shore and try for Browns and rainbows. I don't know anything about the west shore though. I'll make up my mind by this evening and let you know.
