I've been wanting to get my dad out fishing and todays weather was perfect. Pulled my old Valco out of storage and loaded up. We launched at Dyke 8 around 8:30 and headed for the dam. Water was flat, no wind and only 12 boats were in the dam area. We trolled a ton of different set-ups , but got no fishy love today.
Off the water around 12:30.

Talked to a guy at the ramp. He and his dad caught 4 kings and a 20 inch bow. He said they were fishing on top with watermelon dodgers and crawlers. The one combo we didn't try. :smt012

No fish, but I did have a nice time with dad. :smt001 :smt001

Nice post, great pics and GPS track.  Time with Dad, priceless.
