Sounds like there's enough interest and offers for both lead and molds.

As far as safety is concerned, I've been pouring annually since a teen and am only slightly retarded but then again, that may have also been from riding bikes without an Osha approved hardhat.

In general I would be interested but I have no molds of my own and minimal lead. I would probably at the very least want to pick up some lead and hooks of my own first

Pouring requires more than lead, bulk pack of hooks and wireforms would also come in handy.  I don't think anyone would object to sweat equity either, pouring a couple hundred can get laborious.

Bps is the worst place to by molds. Fishermans warehouse has a huge selection from about 27$ on up.

I've got a stupid question.. Will pouring / making concrete in a mold as fishing weights work?

It will, but it'll be 3-4 times bigger. Concrete is not as dense as lead

A better bet for cheap weights are pieces of rebar. Hacksaw off desired weight and wire wrap for line attachment.
