Anybody been up there these last few days on the Russian River?   I tried on Wednesday but it was blown out.   I suspect  the fish are there by now.   Anyone know for sure?  Is our fishable down by Guerneville?

Bank fished yesterday for about an hour. One very brief hook up and gone. Couple more probably takes. This was well below Dry Creek. The guy next to me (there were only 3 of us there) landed one earlier. The other guy fought one for maybe 10 seconds and gone.

Asking the drifters as they passed they all proclaimed 2-3 fish. The drifters all said the day before was a bust.

The Eel's been slow to clear, and the bit of time I've put in has been fruitless - for fish anyway.  The scenery is the usual.   :smt001

Looks like things are set up to blow out again for a while...

I've gotten reports (and seen the photos) of fish being caught as far up as The Forks in Ukiah.
