In a rookie move the old guy, me, turned his back on the water after landing the kayak. The beach was crowded with kayaks and I pulled it up as far as I could. A wave came in and took my yak out. JTfisher jumped in and went and retrieved it for me. That is above and beyond the category for a Good Guy!
Thanks JTfisher!

Steve,

I was with JTFishing yesterday when your yak decided to make a break for it. He's a pretty cool guy his name is John. You'll find that there are many people on this forum that would have done the same thing.

Yours wasn't the only one that needed saving yesterday :smt001

It was nice meeting you and your buddy on the beach.  :smt006

I Had a good time out there and am glad to have met all of you! Looking forward to the next trip. I’m even thing about diving again. I was a commercial urchin diver back in the 80's out of Ventura Harbor. I moved back to the valley and sold all my gear.

Terrible .  Saw how nice the water looked surf perching and was dreaming of being out there with you all. But, glad I didn't rush into it with my shoulder still tweaked. It is coming around nicely and I am finally able to get some therapy on it with out pain. April is not going to get here soon enough. Guess its all about some trout and perch fishing till them. Missing the big blue for sure !!! Glad ya made it out Bro ! See ya soon.
Looks like it was a great time.
