Bad day to be a pigeon

Saw something similiar on discovery channel show once.  Haven't looked at them the same since

I was PB fishing out near the MBF years ago, and hooked a 10 inch striper, it was a real bleeder and was about dead by the time I got it unhooked.  A brown pelican had been floating around nearby obviously looking for a handout so I held the striper over the side of the boat.  That pelican took it and my arm up to the elbow in a flash, immediately let go of my arm, but yeah, certainly changed my opinion and behavior towards the things.

At least the pigeon didn't suffer.
