I'll run this poll for 2 days - so please let us know what works for you and we will go with the majority.

Insane Duane will be present - "Master Yoda of kayak pimpin" Vince and I will be there as well.

I'm going backpacking in the High Sierras this weekend or I would definately be there... if for some reason there is not enough interest and/or notice for this coming weekend, I'm down for either the 30th of June or July 1st... won't have a yak yet, but I'm real curious to see how peeps mount their transducers and what fishfinders everyone is using...

Bad news  :smt011  TO begin with, I'd like apologize to those who put time aside to do the rigging this SUnday. I'm afraid we will have to cancel this event and re-schedule due to lack of interest. We were expecting more to attend - so Vince and I figured out a better way to get a better turn out. Our plan is to move this event to the other Aquan location - which is at the Aquatic Park in San Mateo (about a 10 minute drive North to San Mateo - just off 101). What we plan to do is do a rigging seminar AND and also provide a free kayak demo day for the NCKA members. I plan to bring my X-Factor and my tarpon 160 to add variety. I will talk to Chuck and see if he can get some Hobie yaks as well (chuck also has a Malibu Extreme) I'm sure I can we can get a Marauder (Bill, Angel or Duane) as well. We plan on doing a pot luck BBQ - if you haven't been to the Aquatic Park - the beach actually has a swim area and playground for kids so it's definitely a family friendly event :smt002

If you simply want to drop by and say "hello" please do. This would be a great time to meet and talk - and not fish for a change :smt002

We will set a date and I will post it at least a couple of weeks in advance so everyone can plan accordingly.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Right on...sorry for those that were planning to attend but since I wasn't going to be able to I'm glad it's been re-scheduled.

I'll be glad to have my boat there both to rig up and also to let others test paddle it.

Angel, if I'm not on vacation when the rescheduled rigging takes place, I'll bring the milk crate if you still want it.

I missed the original post (my fault) and just caught this...I'm out of town all weekend so seeing it get moved gives me a chance to make the new date (assuming I'm not already booked out of town then).  I'll try to watch closer for the news on the new date.

Thanks.
