Hi all,

I recently acquired my very first kayak from a member here (2 months ago), and still waiting to go out for my first time catching rockfish on reels! The weather has been mad and I am still looking for my opportunity to go out. In between busy holidays schedule, the next chance I am hoping to go out will be on 12/25 and/or 12/31 before the rockfish season ends!  :smt013  :smt007

So far my fishing experience have been on party boats and rent skiff from Capitola. I am also an ab diver for a few years.

Is there anyone out there whom doesn't mind to take a newbie out? I live in San Francisco and can transport myself (carpool would be nice too), willing to meet in Monterey to Sonoma to cure my fishing itch!!

Sincerely,
Mason

Wind looks bad for Christmas Day for the ocean. I may hit the mouth of the Petaluma river for stripers in the morning if you want to get out and fish a bit.

Extended forecast looks good for Sunday. Keeping my fingers crossed it holds. Hoping to get my Dad out on the tandem for the first time. Probably hit SWS. Good luck!!

Not necessarily starting a hookup. This post just made me look at the upcoming wx and Sunday looks good.

Hey three money, you launch from under 37?. Park across the road from the launch? It seems there is a fee to park under the bridge, but I got a Veterans pass no charge. What time and I am a total new bee trying to get myself set up. Got a little gear, yak, fish finder, and rod holder on the boat. What else I need? Maybe PM is best from here.
