We go for a evening paddle every now and then on a full moon with some friends, they dont fish, but I dont hold it against them anyway, wonder if anyone on the board would like to join. We paddle out to Belvadere, aka hot tub isle, then out to the point, hit the sausalito shore, the houseboats, wherever, its pretty casual and usually flat as a pancake.
Plus its cool to see the harbor seals hang out with us when we dont have fish for the furry weasels to steal from us.
Super-easy lake-like launch. Free access/parking.

I've done several night paddles out of sausalito. Under a full moon during the flood tide is way cool. A paddle to cone rock (lighted beacon) offers a vista of the GG bridge and SF skyline while staying in safe waters. I'd join you if I lived closer. My favorite is to time it with the tides and leave from Dunphy Park to do a night paddle around Angel Island or "the Rock"

Its an Opyio W20, perfect for 'yaking or fishing, 100 % waterproof, takes long movies, on dry land or up to 5 feet deep, is small, easy to use and has a bunch of funtions, check out the time lapse- fireworks mode, with a tripod. New years eve in Oakland.
Check out the full moon in the backround.
