flat as a pancake. Growlers don't keep the fizz in.

The guy next to me at RR was from Baltimore. He bought 2 or 3 cases including a couple 6's of the P the Elder. He said by the time he gets to chicago its worth 5x what he paid. In Baltimore more than that....

It was good, but the hype is kinda silly.

Wow , some one actually would wait for 8 hours so a beer.  :smt005 I do love beer but there would have to be dancing naked ladies on tables and beer flowing all night in order to actually tell someone you waited in line for 3 10oz glasses of beer!  :smt005

I had it a few years ago.  It was good but not all that different from the Elder in my opinion.  Definitely not worth the wait as far as I'm concerned.  A really good Triple IPA from Blue Frog is available at Costco in Danville.  It's called C4 and its 10.5% ABV with 140 IBUs.  Very smooth for such a big brew.  I think I paid $5.49 for a 22.  If you like IPAs this is one you should definitely try.

I bought a few growlers of Pliny the Elder from RRBC on November 3.  Totally forgot still have one left in the spare fridge that all Asians have in their garages lol.

You think its still good to go, or flat as a pancake?

IPA's are a fad.

Yeah, but this fad's been going since Sierra Nevada Pale Ale won it's first award in 1983.. So 32 years on this fad so far! <LOL> :smt003
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
