Just ordered the new kokatat angler directly from the manufacture. I'm happy I pulled the plug for it as I hate being cold and little bit more comfortable heading out to the salmon grounds.

I love mine.  Watch out though for thinking it will save you if you're in the water long enough - it's hard to keep water from coming in the zipper ends when you're submerged, and the cold will get you if you don't have good insulating layers on under it.

See you at the Cove.   :smt001

Also I was told by kokatat if later on I wanted a neck gasket to make it a full dry suit it could be done for 60 bucks.

Thanks for the info Eric. Looking at the recent drownings in humboldt the past couple years the response time to the scene by the coast guard was somewhere inbetween 20 and 30 minutes and that was near shore. Stoked about the cove ill see ya there

Well I dropped off the drysuit for its annual pressure test at kokatat a couple weeks ago and briefly brought up some of the bubbling effect I was getting on the top portion of the suit. I wish I took a picture of it but the bubbling started small and slowly expanded throughout the top. So today I just got word ill be getting a replacement suit. Big thanks to kokatat for being top notch! Ill be sure to ask how it can be prevented though. I rinse and clean on gentle cycle every time so we'll see.

I had same issue with the bubbling.  I was just informed by Kokatat that it was delamination on the top portion of my suit.  They are warrantying it and replacing my old Tropos angler with the new Hydrus angler!  What an outstanding company!  They have a customer for life!!!!
