New to SF and looking to get a Yak

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to SF and would love to get a yak eventually. I don't have a lot of free time outside of work but would like to join in on some trips either in a rented yak or one that I could possibly borrow/rent from a member. Looking primarily to fish in the sf bay. Any tips on best ways to find people to meet up with?

Welcome to NCKA SF Angler    The best way is post a "hook-up" and usually there'll be some people can join you or you can join other people's hook-ups.

Welcome to NCKA.  Fishing the Bay requires more gear and expertise than it may seem.  You might want to consider looking into hiring a guide down that way.  If you're up north in Humboldt County I can outfit you and show you the ropes, but ocean seasons have ended for now.  River steelhead coming up soon.
