Hi guys, I have an old short sleeve surfing wetsuit, and I'm wondering if I could chop the sleeves off to convert it to the farmer john style people seem to use for paddling. Thanks alot!

Quick call to a wetsuit shop should yield you that answer.

Never done this but maybe this forum can help answer from people who tried it before:

Absolutely.  I did it with an old surfing wetsuit.  Cut the arms off and made a slit in the crotch to take a piss.

What, you don't like to marinate your balls in pee?  :smt044

It's not so bad when surfing (or diving) but while sitting on top of a kayak for hours, not very pleasant.

I did it too.  Eventually it disintegrated, but it worked fine for a few years.   But I love my NRS Farmer John- much easier on and off, and wears like iron.
