Nice job Chef.
Saw a picture of your 15lber on the coastside site.  The guy said he never tried butt so he traded his 11lber to a kayaker.

There was one other salmon report that had me LMAO.
A PB'er has been trying for a few days and finally got one out of moss.  While at the dock, a guy asks if he can see it and the PB'er says sure, its in the cooler.
The next thing you know, this moron is holding it up to show his wife when he drops it in the water.  Seconds later, a furbag was all over it.  I think the actual quote was "like white on rice".  Couldn't stop laughing, but I really do feel for the guy.

Chef... I also saw the picture and read about your halibut for salmon trade with the PB'er on Coastside.  If I had as much halibut as you do in the freezer right now, I probably would have made the same trade.  When I read that report, I somehow knew he was referring to you.  GOOD JOB.... AGAIN :smt023

Here's the actual report:

Quote
11# salmon off of Mulligan Hill this morning about 0900. Got him trolling a white with black striped hootchie, skunk, on a downrigger showing 250 feet out. The depth of water was 250 feet, and I have no idea how deep that would make my hootchie...I was trolling at 2mph for the most part. Stayed out until 1200 and called it with nothing else to talk about. Hit the pier, coast guard in Monterey, and a kayaker had a 15# halibut he snagged off of the beach line, but he wouldn't say where. He offered a trade, so I took the halibut. My first one, so I'll know later if I did the right thing. Hoping to be out Sunday!
