International Sportsmen's Expo - San Mateo, Jan 11-14

Who's planning to go to the San Mateo ISE this week?

California Canoe & Kayak (CCK) invited NCKA to share their booth space (#1008) to promote our website and talk kayak fishing.

I will likely be there Thursday and Friday.  Danglin will be there Sunday.  We'll have a small table set-up with kayak fishing photos and props.

Anybody interested in helping or just hanging out with us, let me know what day and time?

Just moved up from SoCal and this will be my 1st time to to this show. Is it as big as the Fred Hall? I'm really only interested in the fishing sections. Do you know how much time i will need to see this show?

The ISE is much bigger but it covers hunting and much more.  Fred Hall is more suited for kayak fishing.

NCKA will have it's own booth and a program of seminars at the Fred Hall show next month at the Cow Palace.

What about the ISE show in Sac the next week? I need to be there on Saturday to talk to an Air Charter service about a float trip, so if anyone else is going to be there, perhaps we could rendezvous.

I sprained my wrist skateboarding(yes I am too old for that sh*t) So I am going to try to go on Thursday since I wont be working. Hope to meet some fellow yakers there.

I'll be at the show in Sac at least one day if not 2.  not sure which days yet tho...

Mooch showed up later on Thursday and brought two poster boards with an impressive collage of NCKA fishing photos.  They stopped showgoers in their tracks.  Thanks Mooch!
