Hello everybody,  my name is Jesse and my wife and I just bought a couple kayaks. I got a used Tarpon 100 and she got a Tamarack Angler for a pretty good price. We have both never kayaked before last weekend and we both loved it though she was a bit nervous to say least. My goal is to go out around HMB and Monterey Bay once I get a bit more comfortable with it.

Welcome to the Madness!  Do a search on HMB and you'll find a lot of great information on how to navigate and avoid dangerous areas.  FYI - the crab season starts on Nov. 7 if you want to catch crab from a kayak for the first time...
