The Valley fire and my friend

The Valley Fire has touched the lives of so many. On Saturday I watched our family friend John post on Facebook what would soon change his life. What started out as a view of smoke from his backyard quickly turned into losing his home.

Some of you may know his daughter Lisa. She has attended some NCKA events in the past with Narisa and I. Her dad lost his car, his possessions and his home.John's place of work has also been lost to the fire. He really needs help getting back on his feet.
