Scott - I would love to join you guys on the 14th.....but I will have to attend a yearly get-together with my H.S. buddies in Tahoe this weekend (last year, I did not attend cause I was busy hunting sturgeon :smt011)....so, I'm actually giving my poor kayak a "much deserved break" and will giving my snowboard some much needed attention  :smt003

Anyway, have fun with the family - IMO: family fishing is the best kind of fishing  :groupwave Good luck and take plenty of pics!!!

Joel -

Have a great time. Sure you don't want to bring your yak? I hear macinaw season is strating to pick up on lake Tahoe. Mike and I are planning a ski and fish trip to donner lake at the end of March targeting macinaws.

Joel -

I will let you know as we get closer to the date. I am still researching accomodations since the the campgrounds don't open till May. Looks like the fishing is a little better on the west side. I have never fished for Macinaws but they seem catchable from a kayak using deep water jigging or drifting live bait from what I have read.
