Older Hobie Outback seat mod - Jackson

If I still had an older Outback I would of definitely did this mod instead of buying a soft seat upgrade. Couple options here but basically the same Jackson seat upgrade.

Cool Idea But...........that seat is waaay higher that the original soft plug in seat. In addition the seat is moved back substantially which might make the Outback ride even more "slappy" than they already are.   Maybe fine for some lakes or really calm water with no boat wakes. Three words...Center of Gravity.
