Launched at Pinole creek at 8:30am with Sudmucker and BIG 8in.bullheads in the bucket.
Ed has been hookin leopards consistantly(lost a biggin last fri.) and hit the incoming tide til 2:oo on the anchor.

Nice conditions at launch.....Paddle out for 15min. and drop anchor.....these bullheads were so big we had to use a"bull-hd rig"(sliding smaller hook into tail area)...Tossed em' out and within a half hour or so....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!  a Fiesty 22" that was barely Hooked!

Released it and now had bait that had "the SMELL" ....another half hour or so and "SLAMMO!"
A nice 27" Rod-bender!!

Tide turned us and then the N.E.wind turned us at a 45degree angle and it wasn't fun anymore cuz we didn't get any takers after that.It was Sudmuckers' first "skunk" out there!!

Water was CRYSTAL CLEAR the whole time.

Scott- No,thats a pic when I first started my YakHuntin career, and I'm gonna be most "savage" like Randy in 07'  :smt003

Nice catch fellas - Adam, where do you get your bull heads?
Mooch-  Bay Tackle / Discount-Mart in Richmond  @ Cutting Blvd.& San Pablo  (call them to check inventory) **mudsuckers too.
Surf City Anglers in Rodeo ****sometimes, not as consistant as above.

Ed (Sudmucker has been trapping a weird cross-breed of mudskr+bullhead and they seem to work great!!
I'll get a pic of them so Brian can "FISH I.D." it perhaps.  :smt002

Midshipmen? great for Sharks.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
