I think I will try for halibut from TI on Saturday.  I will launch somewhere on the East side.  If anyone wants to join me, look for a black/silver Ford Ranger with lumber racks.

Where do you park / launch down there?  Have you done that one before?  I'm wondering how muddy the water will be in that area with the big tide this weekend.

I'm still pondering my options for Saturday... right now I'm leaning toward giving Alameda another shot, or perhaps the Berkeley flats.

Erik, I am going for Muir salmon on Saturday.  I have never launched at TI but I've heard that the NE corner in 20-30 feet is good for halibut.  If salmon sucks on Saturday I will go Sunday intsead.

The currents at treasure island really rip, and either side of it is open bay.  Make sure that if you launch there, the tide will bring you home again.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.
