Late report

Well I don't know exactly how to start this.a while back being with the wrong person led me down a very dark and dangerous road.
Almost losing my job, my sanity and everything else.

I went to work to see if I can get some time off to deal with personal issues.and they asked me if I had been drinking I said yes the night before.well my supervisor said well your gonna get the time off so they give me a breath test.i blew a .04 so I get suspended.

They send me to the union which sends me to the tap  (teamsters assistance program) and I had a sit down with the guy in charge.so I explain why I was there and he goes you have a drinking problem.

We'll needless to say he goes if you don't go to the program I won't help you get your job back.

So off to the program I went.i can't remember the date anymore it was July either 17 or 21st of 05 so yes it's been 10yrs and not one drop of alcohol.

If I can do it anyone can I have very little self control.

Old me wasted on my friends couch.

Congrats on 10 yrs sober.  Yes anyone can do it if they want to change.  I have a family of alcoholics and can tell you it affects the whole family.  I occasionally drink but never to excess.  It must be in our DNA so it's like playing with fire for me. 

Way more impressive than any fish anybody has ever caught.

Normally a 10 year old report doesn't help anyone, but this one just warms the heart, and most certainly helps everyone.
