Mike! Nice steelie! It makes me happy to know a person can still catch fish on the Russian. Before x-mas no less!
I'll be free after the 26th. If the Russian is dirty I might trek to the Smith with the Willie. I'll let you know if I do. You too Sean, or anyone else able to go.

Awesome stuff!  I'm watching the river too and am off the 26th.  I saw some shadows stacked up below the bridge at Memorial before yesterday's rain as well.  I may try to launch there, paddle up and drift down that last 1/2 mile before Memorial.  I see rain in the forecast for Monday, so maybe Sunday????

Happy Holidays everyone!!

Can't  wait to see it.
Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

Sean any pictures I am making one but its coming out sorta bulky.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Very cool ideas.  Sean, yours design is sweeeeeet!!  I tried a more low tech approach using a loop of rope with a clip attached and the loop can be run from the side of the seat back and forth to the stern through a couple of spring clips.  More of a two handed operation, but I'll give it a try ASAP.  If it works well, I'll post some pics.....
