Movie theaters

I take my wife to the movies almost every week. I think I'm going to be reevaluating our seating. I may apply for my CCW permit. Gun free zones seems not to be working out so well. The Old west was not as violent as portrayed in the movies. There was much more respect due to the fact.

Gun free zones = locations of choice for psychos. 

The Colorado movie theater shooting changed the way that my girlfriend and I go to the movies. We definitely still go, but we pay more attention to who else is there,  where we sit, and where the exits are. We avoided the movie theater for about a month after that shooting but eventually went back to see The Hobbit. About an hour and a half in, the movie goes black, the emergency flashing lights activate and we can see the back of the theater is filling with smoke. With the shooting clearly in everyone's minds, it was a stampede getting out and it really shook a lot of the people up. Found out later that a popcorn machine caught fire.

Gotta keep your wits about you and your eyes open these days.

 I have never trusted or liked dark theaters ...The last time I was at a movie theater it was for the release of Terminator 2 ....I am good with my home big screen and sound system .

Last time I went to a movie theater we saw Titanic. The only good thing was I brought a bucket of Nitro Chicken Wings and slid the bones under the seats along the isles. I wounded more people slipping on the bones than any mass murderer ....
