I live in Lodi.  I've mostly been fishing the Moke, some sierra lakes, Pardee and other motherload lakes.  Took a few long trips up to Trinity. I enjoy long paddles so mostly troll for trout.  Late last year and this I've been learning ocean, mostly Santa Cruz, due to the drought.  I've got a fishing buddy who just bought a Slayer Propel and lives above Capitola, so it's a convenient area.  So far it seems pretty easy to catch blues black rockfish.  We've only caught a few small lings between us.  I find the blue rockfish plenty tasty anyway.
