new from Suisun

Hi all,
My girlfriend and I  rented a kayak last weekend on lake natoma and came accros one of you guys. He suggested me to check out the forum.
I've kayaked plenty of times and I'm an angling addict. The more I kayak the more I'm loving it. I'm still at square one though and before I move on I'd like to get some advice from you guys.
