Is anyone as crazy as me and my friends? We will be at Donner around 6:30 or 7:00am when it will be about 10 degrees or so, but it will be worth it if the BIG MACKS are hitting after the snow storm.  We'll launch from the main boat ramp if anyone is interested. Be sure to bring warm clothing and a big ice chest to store those BIG MACKS.

Later, Scott

I was considering Tahoe tomorrow for the same reason. How deep will you guys be going??
Definitely bring chains with you and don't be in too much of a hurry to get there.
On Thanksgiving Day I had my 4x4 locked in and wasn't going very fast at all ( maybe 10-15 MPH max ) and spun out on some black ice.
Because of my slow speed I was able to make a perfect recovery although I was facing the opposite direction.
Fortunately you will be leaving early and will miss a lot of the traffic. Hope you nail 'em!!!

Good luck guys! Hope you get them.

I love fishing that lake. I haven't had a chance  to take the Yak out on it thou, but did a lot of shore fishing. Looking forward on you report.

Alex.

Good luck, guys!  Is the cooler to keep the fish from freezing on the way home?  I'll honk as I pass you on the way to the slopes.

You go!!!  I think thats just too cool to catch fish from a yak at that particular local (which I never have) at this time of year on so many levels I would not be able to explain it if I tried.
Too bad I cant make it. Good luck!!!! Ben
