Bank robbery in Felton?

 
  We got stuck at the light at hwy 9 and gram hill today around 13:45 with CHP, and what seemed every sheriff's deputy racing by us!  We couldn't make out what happened, but no fire trucks so I'm thinking its not medical.  When we were able to get around the law enforcement daricade we saw that they were all out the little Liberty bank!  Ah, that would explain why the deputies were "Racing" around us!
  Because we live in a tiny mountain community the bank robbery only warranted 10 seconds on the 5 O'clock news!   Oh, one maybe 2 person involved, and it/they got away!  Joy!
  I hope 6pm news has more information?

  Wife called the sheriffs office about the robbery, expressing her concern that an armed criminal is running about in our neighborhood,  the deputy she spoke with told her that they believe the robber(s) were "Operators" and professional.  They were long gone before they (law enforcement) arrived, and that they believe they are not locals so there probably long gone.  He also mentioned that they are not looking into the robbery any further! ( I'm sure someone is monitoring that robbery, they probably can't tell everyone everything) I wonder if Boulder creek has any little "Mom& Pop banks up there?  Maybe they need to beef up their security?

They do have another Liberty in BC.  Quinn has an account there, his first savings account. Sure hope they don't return for another 'withdraw'.

There are several crews operating at any given time up and down the state. Your deputies are correct. They are probably not local. And the reason that they are not conducting follow up is likely because it has been turned over to the FBI. Pretty standard actually.

Bank robberies have gone way down since the institution of Follow the Money. Similar to Lo Jack. Tracking chips in the money make it hard to get away. The systems were installed free in many police vehicles. Unfortunately not every community has taken advantage of the offer.

Who hasnt thought of robbing a bank? Jesse James style! But, then you see all those cameras, and you snap back to reality....
