catfish parasite?

Cody caught this catfish this morning,  and when we filleted it out, the meat was riddled with white egg shaped specs. Looks like "rice breast" in ducks. We pitched the meat. I have seen lots of parasitic forms in fish, but never this. Any thoughts?

If you happened to take a look at the organs, we're they even more infested than the meat ? Hard to tell from the pictures exactly, but were they imbedded in the muscle tissue or just dispersed in the belly cavity ?

It really looks like a fluke infestation. Unsightly, definitely. But if its cooked properly, its not any worse than roundworms in rockfish or anything. I definitely understand playing it safe though.
