Lower Sunrise Recreation area

Hey folks,

Drove over the bridge on Sunrise blvd at the lower Sunrise Rec area on the way to work and there is buku peeps fishing there. Kayakers and people on the bridge. What's running over there?

Shad, Shad, and lot's of Shad.   I was talking to a couple of old-timers the other morning.  Apparently the Stripers are chasing the Shad around.  One gentleman hooked a Shad, and then the Striper came and gobbled up the Shad... but to his dismay, the Striper coughed up the Shad, and the rather large Striper swam off.

Big stripers don't taste as good anyways 

Aaah Thanks. I guess that's where I'll go tomorrow. Never actually went down  there before except while peddling thru on the bike path

Just Shad....There ARE NO BIG STRIPERS IN THE AR
