Haven't tried any restaurants there in many years. Google "Asian restaurants, Albany, ca" to get a list. Take note that some places there close by mid-afternoon.

Rangoon superstar is good on telegraph. 
Taiwan restaurant by shattuck n university is a good hole in the wall eat.

I know this is far but when i was in berkeley a lot i would always go to Dara Thai. damn i miss that place \

The Thai place at the top of Solano is hella good, I think k there's a Lao spot too that's good.  When I think of Solano I think zacharies pizza, and you should too!

I used to love Zachary's deep dish pizza... until I tried Little Star. The cornmeal crust on their deep dish is amazing...
